John, Congrats is right! Look on page 59 and 60 of May2005 Vintage Guitar Magazine...that $10 bought you a real 1953 "Maccaferri G40 Plastic Archtop". the article goes on to state that the tone was good enough for Segovia ENDORSED them. I would build a neck...and take a listen!
